We always stay here when in the Seattle area and are usually very pleased. However, they are undergoing renovations and I would not stay here again until they are completed. We were just here for a Mariners game and the pool/hot tub are closed. The gas is shut off so the fireplace in our room was inoperable. They are down from 4 to 2 boilers so the showers were with cold water. The towel rods in the bathroom were missing and the soap/shampoo containers were clogged or empty. The weather stripping on the door was gone so light flooded in all night from the large gap. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. We were given a 50% discount, which was appreciated, but did not make up for the issues. It is apparently in the midst of changing from a BW to a Hilton/Doubletree. I don’t know what this holds for affordability but will keep up the hope for a future return.

There's not many hotels in this area, so we ended up booking the best western. The location is incredibly beautiful, right along the lake, and our room did have a lake view, with a patio so we could go right outside. However that's where the niceness ended. The rooms are incredibly out of date, the fireplace in our room did not work, the carpeting is old, the mattresses are old. The rooms are very dimly lit. The refillable shower gel and shampoo dispensers were empty, which I'm all for the whole refillable concept, but I believe a basic step of housekeeping then should be to make sure they're full between each guest. So when I asked for more they said they were all out. How are you out of soap? So I asked if I could have some extra bar soap instead, which they were able to find some. The lobby and common areas were being remodeled, so those will be nicer, but I don't know when the rooms are slated for a remodel. They desperately need it though. Breakfast was the exact same every day. I don't expect something amazing for breakfast at a hotel buffet but it's nice to have a couple of the main options switched out every day so it doesn't get boring. The staff was nice and friendly. But for the cost of the stay I would look somewhere else if you have the option.

Hotel is under renovations. Pool and hot tub are inoperable. Showers are cold due to only half their hot water system being functional. TV has limited channels and no streaming capabilities. Room was dirty, hair on bathroom floor, mold and soft spot in ceiling and around tub. Pet odors and loud noises. I would recommend waiting till renovations are complete.

Stayed here last week. During the stay the hot tub heater broke. No problem it happens. I reported it not working on Wed. I was told it would be fixed the next day. It wasn't. By friday evening it still was cold. I checked out Sat at 0530. I got one night off and spent Sat at home. I have to be at work Monday at 0600. I called the hotel (direct line, not corporate) Sunday morning and explicitly asked if they have a hot tub. I knew they did but I was curious if they would tell me that it was broken. I was told they had a hot tub. I asked if it was working. I was told it was. I said I was there Friday night, 36 hours ago, and it wasn't working. I asked if it had been fixed since then. I was told that it had been fixed and was working. I drove an extra 20 miles to stay here and got in late. The hot tub is still broken and had not been fixed because the same sign saying not to use it was still taped over the timer. I was explicitly lied to. I will never stay here again.

I am not knocking them for anything related to construction. Nice things first: good location, when it’s done it’s gonna look great. The food in the bistro was frankly better than expected. A sandwich or two would be nice, the menu is small. The room, NO HOT WATER OUR ENTIRE TIME.

Worst Best Western hotel ever. Our room thermostat was broken. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty. One of the dresser drawers would not stay shut. One of our gift certificates wasn’t used when we paid although the clerk had all the information she needed. She charged our credit card instead. I could go on. Just don’t stay here!
